Tanker Explodes On Lagos - Ibadan Expressway, Vehicles Got Burnt

There is a tanker explosion at Otedola/Ojodu Berger this evening and over 20 cars were reportedly burnt. The number of casualty in the incident is not yet ascertained but at the moment efforts are already in place to put out the fire as The Lagos Fire Service officers are already spotted at the scene. And calls have been made to other appropriate authorities to intervene in the sad incident to avert a break down of law and order. NCC Begins Implementation Of Data Roll-over This Week

According to the NCC, the Data Roll-Over policy would come into effect this week following complaints from millions of data subscribers that they were being short-changed by internet service providers as a result of the non-implementation of the policy in the country. DANLADI Ciroma, chairman of north central zone of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), has denied linking the killings in Plateau state to reprisal attacks. Mr Ciroma said the reporter he spoke with on the issue misquoted him, denying issuing a statement. “I did not issue a statement. No, we talked on phone. Sincerely speaking, what that boy wrote was not what I told him. Doctor dies While Watching Nigeria VS Argentina Match

A Nigerian doctor has reportedly lost his life while watching the Super Eagles of Nigeria lose to Argentina in their final group d fixture of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. Dr. Canice Ebirim, a consultant at the Federal Teaching Hospital Abakaliki (FETHA), died during the Super Eagles and Argentina match on Tuesday. While confirming the news, the Chief Medical Director (CMD), of the hospital, Emeka Ogah, said Ebirim died within the period of the match. According to him, a friend of the deceased revealed that he started behaving funny within that period. “Ebirim’s friend said that the deceased started moving suspiciously and solicited for assistance which made him intervene and took him (Ebirim) to the hospital. Efforts made to revive him at our hospital proved abortive as he died but we would liaise with his family to conduct an autopsy.
